When I travel I usually carry a suit with me I was wondering if the tri star or patgonia MLC or other carry on have a place for putting a suit in them?? I would carry that and a briefcase too. thx

You could easily use the rear compartment of the Tri-Star for a suit. You probably wouldn't be able to get in much more than that in that compartment but the suit could be protected from too much movement with the tie-down straps.

I would proably choose the Tri-Star over the MLC. The MLC is much thinner and the suit would take up more of the overall space in that bag than the Tri-Star.

Yup, easily. I've recently switched to a combo of the Aeronaut 45, the Western Flyer, and the Pilot. I can get one suit in WF or 3-4 in the A45 so Just pick whatever mix of those bags I need, using either the WF or the Pilot as my personal item / briefcase.
