dohI think I may have made a mistake in the way some of you are perceiving where this site is going.

One Bag, One World is a website dedicated to the light traveler. Whether it be for a weekend of travel, or a lifetime, most of us will do almost anything not to check a bag. We want to travel efficiently, economically and light.

And that’s not going to change.

Even though I’ve decided to make travel a major part of my life, OBOW is not going to become my personal travelogue. While I will talk about my destinations and what I’m doing, I’m going to share whatever travel knowledge I’ve learned, or am learning, along the way. Everything from packing to planning to budgeting and everything in between.

That’s why I wanted to write this clarification. I think I may have come across and trying to only promote full time travel. That’s not the plan.

If there is anything in particular you want me to discuss, just let me know.

One Response to Clarification

Sounds good. I think that just running updates on how the packing is working, what technology you are using, current conditions in the places you travel through–like what is new in the airports or where you are staying–or the best ways currently to get into town from the airport –things like that–would be useful. I just looked at what is considered a popular travel blog, and it wasn’t detailed at all about the things travelers need to know. It was just a lot of the travel couple’s pictures of themselves in beautiful places, and very vague advice about packing, getting through security, etc. I do find your reviews of products to be beyond useful–that has helped me a lot–so hope you will still do them as you wend your way.
