Frontier Airlines is now the third U.S. airline, along with Spirit and Allegiant, to charge for carry-on bags. If you fly on an economy ticket and wish to put a bag in an overhead compartment, it will cost you between $20 and $50 depending on where you bought the ticket. Personal size items that fit under the seat are still allowed at no cost.
Air Canada becomes the first non-U.S. airline to offer TSA Pre-Check. For now, only passengers who get their boarding pass from an agent or from a machine at the airport qualify. The airline hopes to offer pre-check to those who print out their boarding passes at home in the near future.
TSA expects more foreign carriers to join the program.
